Water-based Polyaspartic Resin
FEISPARTIC FW5502 is a solvent-free, self-emulsifying water-dispersible polyaspartic resin with secondary amine groups for reaction with isocyanates. It combines high solids, low viscosity and moderate reactivity, offering good UV resistance, long-lasting gloss and color, and hard films with excellent water, abrasion and solvent resistance without additional film-forming aids.

Applications
- Suitable for water-dispersible and three-component waterborne coating systems.
- Pigments and fillers can be ground directly into Component A without pre-emulsification, while water-dispersible isocyanate and water are added before application to complete dispersion and emulsification.
- With low viscosity, moderate reactivity and self-emulsifying properties, FW5502 helps formulate low-VOC, near-zero-VOC and low-odor waterborne coatings.
- Its high crosslinking density helps deliver high hardness, good abrasion resistance and good water resistance, making it suitable for durable waterborne topcoats.

Shelf Life
FEISPARTIC FW5502 must be stored in airtight containers to prevent contact with moisture. Recommended storage temperature is below 40°C (≤104°F). The shelf life of FEISPARTIC FW5502 in the closed original container is 12 months.

- FEISPARTIC FW5502 is combustible and should be stored at the temperature below 40 ℃. It should be kept away from fire source and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated environment. The storage period is 12 months.
- The coating formulated with FEISPARTIC FW5502 should be tested for performance after one week’s maintenance.
