Cold storage units are climate-controlled facilities used for storing food, dairy products, meat, seafood, and other perishable items. Currently, China ranks third globally in cold storage capacity, behind India and the United States.
Cold storage units are categorized into low-temperature, medium-temperature, high-temperature, quick-freeze, and controlled atmosphere types. The primary market is low-temperature storage, accounting for 72%, primarily used for food storage at -18 to -25°C, which is ideal for preserving meat and vaccines. The unique environment of cold storage units demands high-quality flooring materials that can withstand prolonged low temperatures and endure the impact and pressure of forklifts during loading and unloading. Therefore, the materials must exhibit excellent low-temperature resistance and impact durability.
Option 1: Steel shot applied with a sealing hardener to create a dense surface, preventing water infiltration.
Option 2: Water-based polyurethane mortar, which is effective in preventing freeze-cracking and water seepage.
